Brochan Lom
Brochan Lom is a Winnipeg, Manitoba chorus with voices in the male range performing the rich Celtic harmonies of the kind you’ll hear at Robbie Burns Day celebrations as the haggis is blessed. We've been doing this for more than 25 years. And we are now lending the power of our tenor and bass voices to an expanded repertoire that incorporates songs by noted Canadian artists such as Leonard Cohen and Stan Rogers.
Brochan Lom, in Gaelic, literally means "thin porridge" and is the choir's theme song. Listen to a little "thin porridge" here.

Brochan Lom is a group of singers who meet and unite our voices to bring the joy of choral music - both from our Scottish musical heritage and other styles as well. We are committed to learning and developing choral and musical skills; to friendship and camaraderie; to excellence in training and performance; to contributing to a safe and inclusive environment for chorus and audience members. We are a non-audition chorus and welcome all singers in the male range.
